He’d ski everyday if he could, but a higher calling has Ryan Dobson on the road, on the platform, and in the skateparks…all for his unfading love of today’s generation of youth.
Ryan’s knowledge of youth culture and speaking experience have earned him the respect and trust today’s younger generation. Traveling extensively, he speaks to more than one-hundred audiences a year at events ranging from music festivals, concert tours, youth camps and crisis pregnancy center fundraisers. His candor has landed him hundreds of radio and TV interviews.
As an impassioned youth speaker with a message that is always relevant, Ryan has touched countless teens and 20-somethings. He is articulate, animated, and passionate about topics that he feels the next generation needs to hear. Steadfast and unashamed, he teaches the younger set to examine their belief systems and to think through consequences before making decisions. Using his hands-on knowledge, current events, and cultural examples, Ryan has the unique ability to relate to the youth of today.
He is the voice of KorKast, a weekly podcast challenging listeners in the way they see, hear, and think about life and the way they all interact with the culture around them. In 2005, Ryan founded KOR Ministries, an organization whose outreach is centered on evangelism and fostering passion and identity in the next generation. KOR Ministries holds leadership training seminars and travels to various destinations for missions.
Ryan is the bestselling author of three books, Be Intolerant, 2 Die 4, and 2 Live 4. His writings examine moral relativism and its role in society today and challenges readers to choose Christianity, “the ultimate adventure.”
Ryan graduated from Biola University with a bachelor's degree in communications. He and his wife Laura live in Colorado, where they’ve traded in waves for snow and snowboard and ski with friends.
