   I got to have dinner with my good friend Doug and his family and they made me a cake and all sang “Happy Birthday” to me. So cool. This was one of the best birthdays I’ve had in a long time.

Well, Lincoln woke us up at 5:00am and I’m getting ready to head to Team Quest with Scott Knight (shows 78, 79). Today is my first training session for my upcoming fight (tbd). I feel like I could be a character in the movie “Run Fat Boy, Run” but maybe that’s just me. I’ll post pix and stories later tonight.God Bless,Ryan

Hey Everyone,
Happy New Year!! I hope you had great holidays. Mine was the best. Laura, Lincoln and I just stayed home, cooked tons of food and enjoyed the snow and each other. Lincoln has now learned to open presents but I think he’s having more fun with ripping the paper than his toys. Well it’s day 3 with no Diet Coke. Actually it’s day 3 with no soda or caffeine of any kind. To be honest, it stinks. I’d much rather be drinking diet coke, but it’s gone for good. No fast food, no soda. Caffeine I’m not being strict on, but considering that 99.9% of my caffeine intake came from diet coke, well you get the picture.

I’m not too sure Lincoln was hip on Santa

We’re stoked to go home but bummed to leave this pristine weather and surf. This is a very small world as we kept bumping into friends from the past. This was a great day. We got up and I took Lincoln to Ted’s Bakery for breakfast. Lincoln had a butter croissant (as usual) and I had a loco moco (also as usual). I think I’m going to continue the breakfast thing w/ Lincoln at least once a week. It’s a total bonding time. I’m not sure if he’s getting anything out of it yet (baring a butter croissant) but I sure am. This trip was such a blessing. Sure we all got sick at one time or another and sure we lost power, but what a place to be sick and in the dark. I couldn’t have asked for a better trip. I can’t wait for next year, cuz we’re coming back!!
